Today i'm going to talk about my favorite dog: " Basset Hound" :)    

 
This dogs are from France, is a noble breed and desend directly from the hound of St. Huberto, the PATRON of hunters.

The basset hound are very friendly and quiet but also so obstinate and lazy. This dogs are a realy good breed for the childrends because they enjoy to play and run, and all do it lovingly. Even as they like the excersise ther prefer to eat ans sleep.

This breed was created for hunting and follow the traces, they have to take his own desitions in the hunt, is for this reason they are so autonomous and have troubles to follow orders.

Usually are a very healty breed, but we must care about their feed and their large ears, by overweight and infections.

    I always thought that this breed was called hush puppies when I was a kid and didn't know English...jaja

    Hi Alejandra,

    I really like this breed because they're so sweet. I feel that they have a sweet spirit, like a grandpa'.
